In the late spring of 2021, with Healdsburg water restrictions, Brigette advocated for Water Security. Brigette created a FB site for Water Wise Volunteers where neighbors communicated and supported one another. By mid-summer, she authored a citizen's petition that was signed by hundreds of Healdsburg residents. Brigette wrote and sponsored a full page appeal to the city council of Healdsburg that was published in the Tribune.
